Great for an after work (or school) scoff to tide over those hunger pains until dinner. I've had so many of these I've lost count!


Firm cheese (slices) suitable for grilling
Fresh Bread
Tomato sauce (or slices of tomato for those guormets)


1. Grill one side of the bread until golden brown
2. On the untoasted side, place one layer of cheese
3. Gently grill, just until the cheese begins to soften, then remove from the heat
4. Layer the tomatoes (or tomato sauce!) on the cheese
5. Return to the grill until golden brown, remove and serve immediately!

Serving Size:

Two to three slices per person should do the trick!
